About the project

These frames document formwork and reinforced concrete production on a wastewater treatment site set into sloping terrain. The circular basin walls were cast with a curved shuttering system built from vertical boards and horizontal walings; once stripped, tie holes and panel joints remain readable on the surface. Rectangular compartments, a basin with serpentine internal walls, open channel sections and deep channel floors sit within the same layout. Bundled reinforcement, starter bars, steel props, timber studs and formwork plywood appear across the set. Service structures rise as concrete column-and-beam frames with brick infill. Excavation slopes, a material laydown area and earthmoving equipment round out the site organisation. One frame shows white canopies and a gathering next to the tanks. No operating stage of the plant is shown.
