Approach on site

An orderly site is a precondition here. How formwork panels, reinforcement and props are stored directly affects pour speed and surface quality. Formwork and reinforcement are each checked before the pour.

In reinforced concrete the outcome is decided before the pour. Formwork stiffness, bar placement, cover and pour sequence directly determine surface quality and structural behaviour. On industrial buildings we plan the column and beam grid together with pour stages, following how the site can actually be accessed. On water-retaining structures such as wastewater treatment basins, curved formwork, watertightness and joint detailing come to the front, and the formwork frame and tie arrangement are worked out separately. In roofing, the structure, waterproofing and drainage are set up as one detail package.
